In sharp contrast to last year’s Ultra Violet, this vibrant shade of orange with a “life-affirming” golden undertone is the hue that’s predicted to shape the year in terms of fashion, interiors, and even household products such as mixers and coffee makers.
Pantone settled on Living Coral as a reaction to the “onslaught of digital technology and social media increasingly embedding into daily life.” Described by Pantone as nurturing, yet “sociable and spirited,” the color encourages lighthearted activity and playful expression.
