We unveiled Alaska porcelain tile collection, the terrazzo-look line that captures both shimmer and matte appearances in one sophisticated finish. We put a special focus on the unique polygon mosaic that is the hallmark of this collection.
We hosted a select group of students from the University of Tennessee – Knoxville’s Interior Architecture program. These students participated in a Crossville-sponsored course on porcelain tile specification. For the course, they had to create design projects featuring the use of tile for a competition. The competition winners were awarded the trip to Chicago to experience NeoCon.
We connected with countless commercial interior designers who come to the show to find the innovations and inspiration they need to make their futures projects truly exceptional. From in-booth conversations to educate designers on our most recent advancements to plenty of after-show interactions, we maximized the moments with some of the nation’s top designing minds.
Tile is evolving and becoming more versatile than ever for a wide and unexpected range of applications. Whenever you attend NeoCon, be sure to include Crossville on your show schedule to get the most current information, inspiration, and ideas.
See you next year in Chicago!

Crossville’s New Products
Lindsey Waldrep:
We’re at NeoCon, and we’ve got some really great new products. These are high-performance materials, whether you’re working on retail, hospitality, workplace or residential, that are really exciting new products. We’re now producing 24-by-48 tiles in our plant in Tennessee. The result is five amazing on-trend terrazzo colors, plus a polygon mosaic that you can see behind me. Now what makes me excited about this terrazzo look is that terrazzo is so on-trend this year, especially in multiple different ways, whether it be in pop-modern types of looks with bright colors, or something more sophisticated, which is where our look is going.
Interior Architecture Students’ Show Experiences
Jungyeon Park:
I really didn’t know what to expect. I heard a lot of things about it. People said it’s big. People say it’s overwhelming. And it is big and very overwhelming, and I’m learning a lot.
Amy Loy:
It’s wildly exceeded my expectations. There are so many people, there’s so much to do, so much going on.
Chris Brewer:
It was kind of overwhelming at first, but then you go with it, and it’s been amazing.
Rachel Payne:
As a student I feel like it’s really hard to spec furniture and different products, and so this has opened up a whole other opportunity of materials and products that we can now use in projects that we had no idea about before.
Crossville’s Relationship with Interior Designers
Mark Shannon:
I’ve been at Crossville quite a while, and one of the most beautiful things about being part of Crossville is the relationship that we have with interior design. One of the unique things about Crossville is our winning aspiration directs us to the interior design community.
