Residential Primary Shower
Louisville, Colorado | February 10, 2023
Located in Louisville, Colorado, just southeast of Boulder, the homeowners wanted to update their primary bath with a mid-century modern style. Working with Kathryn Krughoff of Krughoff Design, the homeowners and designer developed a simple design that resulted in a beautiful bathroom.
From adding a new soaker tub to adding a larger shower with a built-in niche and fresh paint to updated lighting, the design elements emphasized natural elements in cool neutral tones. For the shower walls, Krughoff chose Crossville’s Moonstruck collection in the Juno colorway in 12” x 24” installed vertically to help elongate the space. Showcasing a natural stone look with striations and a sandstone-like texture, the field tiles were expertly installed with minimal grout lines to create an expansive appearance.
The homeowners are extremely pleased with their new primary bath, and Krughoff continues to be complimentary of the professional service she receives working with Crossville. “Crossville was selected as they are within close proximity to the job site, and the materials were readily available and in stock,” explained Krughoff.
