Introduction
Nestled on the third floor of the renovated Assembly Office Building in Norfolk, Virginia, Grow’s new office space is truly an extension of their brand and culture. The unique workspace design showcases the agency’s innovative spirit and actively situates the company in the midst of the larger multi-tenant creative office space of Assembly.
Partnering with some of the world’s most beloved brands, including Google, Adidas, and Spotify, Grow develops compelling interactivity, personalization at scale, and real-time engagement on various web platforms, apps, videos and much more.
The Story
To capture the Grow’s innovative mindset and create a casual workspace, interior designers at Campfire & Co. developed a muted color palette with minimal patterns and relaxed furniture allowing for functional and flexible spaces. The new office space is bright, modern, clean, engaging and uplifting. Mixing comfortable materials like leather, tweed, wool and tile, the design team subtly captured Grow’s humanistic brand.
For the ever-important staff break room, the design team chose to specify Crossville Porcelain Slabs in the stunning Black Tie color in the unpolished finish for the countertops. The digitally produced surface design of these 100% porcelain slabs provide an appearance that beautifully mimics natural stone. Crossville Porcelains Slabs are a great alternative to other commonly used surfaces. These 12 mm-thick slabs provide all the performance advantages expected of commercial-grade porcelain tile, including easy maintenance and no worries of staining. From the coffee and sink space to the beautiful high-top bar, the result is a bold, strong, yet modern appearance of the two countertop areas that mix beautifully with the break area’s complimentary warm wood and bright white tones.
Conclusion
With countertops so easy to clean, the Grow team won’t have to worry about pesky coffee stains and can spend more time developing the next innovative personalized digital experience.
