The original owner of this home started the renovation project and then realized it was too much to be accomplished. Carrino stepped in and purchased the property to develop it into a mountain retreat.
Of course, he documented the entire renovation process for TheBuild.TV. Per usual, Carrino offers his viewers a realistic view into the planning, process, products and project management of the massive remodel.
A highlight of this project is Carrino’s tile selection and design. In choosing tile for this mountain retreat, Carrino worked with Crossville’s long-standing distribution partner Garden State Tile. Choosing our Cursive collection for the backsplash of a bar in the main living area, he designed a custom tile pattern with bold colors utilizing the triangle shape that beautifully accentuates built-in custom cabinets.
For the upstairs guest bathroom, Carrino selected our Multiplier collection in white and dark grey. As a floor-to-ceiling backsplash behind an oversized farmhouse sink, he installed Multiplier in all white. For the shower wall, he also installed Multiplier in white from floor to ceiling but added a focus point in dark grey with the words, “Get Lost in the Woods.”
