October is Breast Cancer Awareness month, and for the next few weeks, we’ll see a lot of pink everywhere as organizations, businesses, and individuals show support for those whose lives are affected by the disease.
While a month of awareness can be a powerful thing, we at Crossville have made our efforts to support those facing breast cancer a year-round effort. Every month of the year, we contribute a portion of proceeds from two of our glass tile products—Glass Blox and Convergence Glass—to The Common Thread for a Cure. Since 2007, we have donated more than $121,581 in support for Common Thread, and last year, we were recognized as a Lifetime Thread of Honor Sponsor.

Through Helping Hands Grants, this organization helps families deal with practical needs during their most challenging times. Helping Hands Grants provide assistance in paying for transportation to and from doctor appointments, everyday household expenses, extra childcare required during treatments, tuition, home repairs, and other things that may improve quality of life as our colleagues and those who love them face the challenges of the disease. Additionally, Common Thread also supports research and educational programs.
