Crossville’s New Clinker-Style AutoPaver™ Collection Provides Heavy-Duty Support for Automotive Service Areas

With auto service centers serving as profit centers for most auto dealerships, keeping the service bays operational is crucial. Automotive service bays and other high vehicular traffic areas see tremendous stress loads on flooring systems; therefore, these areas require specialty flooring. With the clinker-style system, the flooring is installed via the vibration method (a European standard), which allows the shop floor to be truly flat, strong, and highly durable.

Crossville recently launched its AutoPaver™ collection, bringing deliverability assurances to property owners who need installations to be done in timely fashion in order to begin servicing cars as soon as possible. Prior to the launch of AutoPaver, there were no other domestically produced clinker style tile; all other such products are imports from overseas. Responsibly manufactured at Crossville’s plants in Crossville, Tennessee, AutoPaver simplifies the supply chain for this specialty item that is often required within extremely tight construction schedules for auto dealers and service facilities.
