Cursive: Award Worthy
Crossville’s Cursive Collection closed out 2020 as a finalist in the Tile + Stone Wall Covering category in the prestigious Interior Design Best of Year awards. Interior Design’s Best of Year is one of the design industry’s premiere design awards program, honoring the most significant projects and product of the year. Interior Design’s Best of Year has become the ultimate measure of excellence, showcasing what’s happening today in every category of design while simultaneously setting the bar even higher for the future.
This honor came on the tail of Cursive’s coveted category win in the HD Awards from Hospitality Design. The annual HD Awards competition recognizes the year’s best and most innovative achievements in both project and product design around the globe. The Cursive Wall Tile Collection was selected as the award winner in the wallcoverings category, deemed the best out of nearly 310 products that were submitted across 40 combined categories by an accomplished panel of industry professionals.
Cursive: Custom Creativity
The Cursive Wall Tile Collection offers designers on-trend, customizable options to create wall tile patterns. Each Cursive tile has a handmade appearance with a watercolor effect around the edges. Offered in nine trending colors, designers can create unique and inspiring patterns with Cursive’s triangle tile, circle tile, half circle demilune tile, and more.
Crossville also offers the Cursive Pattern Visualizer, a specially developed, web-based tool that allows designers to create custom looks using the collection’s shapes and colors. We worked with Maticad USA, renowned developer of 3D interior design software solutions, to create the intuitive, web-based pattern creation tool. The Cursive Pattern Visualizer has already proven popular, and, thanks to feedback from its usage to date, Maticad was able to make improvements based on the way designers are engaging with the tool.
