Bohemia
Bohemia is a unique line with fabric inspiration. The look of the tile is lightly textured to give the appearance and softness of textile, with the durability of porcelain. It is available in 8 different colors including neutral shades, chocolate brown, and a cool blue. The graphic on this tile is quite deceptive but in the best way. The digital printing on the tile makes it easy to clean with just a little bit of texture. Bohemia uses a mixture of material with a concrete look as well as a burlap or linen look. This mixing of material is very unique because of the unusual pairing. Bohemia offers a large variety of tile with its texture and different colors.
Java Joint
Like Bohemia, Java Joint’s color palette is very complementary. The texture is based on a real stone and gives a very linear visual. With its wooden like appearance, it can be used in different ways and goes across many different visuals. It is also available in some beautiful neutral colors that compliment many other Crossville products. The striations in the tile create a depth in the tile, especially in the darker colors. Because of its visual, Java allows you to do many different things with it when you are installing and fabricating it. Both Bohemia and Java are wonderful additions when finishing a room.
Retro Active 2.0
A twist on one of Crossville’s favorite lines Retro Active that led to the creation of Retro Active 2.0. This line pulls the best colors from the long-loved Cross Colors and Retro Active lines and updates it to make a fresh, new collection. This Retro Active 2.0 line expands with more flexibility and trending colors with the idea of making this through body tile something that designers can go to as an easy alternative for lots of different places and scenes. The great thing about the through body of the tiles is that, even if someone manages to break or crack the tile, you will still see the same tile all the way through instead of just at the top, giving it a more enduring look. This also gives the designer the confidence that it will last a very long time. After bringing in some color consultants, we were able to offer more colors than previously available. The line now has darker blacks and lighter whites that can be hard to achieve in manufacturing. With this particular tile we offer three finishes: polished, unpolished, and the innovative Retro Active 2.0 patterns that provides a linear, textural pattern for unique effect and design versatility.
Physics
Physics is a “mingle” that Terri says “employs fairy dust” because it has a really subtle shimmer to it. This is a workhorse product that is meant to perform in everything from gas stations to high end residential installations. Physics is very glamorous yet basic. This product is available in 5 colors and 6 sizes. Physics is through body so even if there should be compromise to the surface, you will see the same color throughout the piece.
Convergence
We have also launched the line Convergence. As we were looking around last year to find a decorative design tile, we looked for something unexpected. This tile is a convergence of organic and inorganic. There is an organic graphic—an end-grain wood look—with the sheen that is employed with glass. It’s biomimicry with a modern flare. Convergence comes in 8 different colors including some really bold options. With the wood look, the jewel tones that we have released give more opportunity to add a pop. This line also has something very special about it. When buying this line, you are supporting the Common Thread for the Cure, a nonprofit organization that grants funds to breast cancer survivors that are within the interior design industry.
State of Grace
State of Grace is a marble visual that is very natural with a pure white background. There is a significant veining—yet not too much. This line has maximum flexibility and can be used in a formal or casual setting with its bright look. We offer this in many unique cuts and sizes that can help when it is being used in a base molding. State of Grace is offered in a few different mosaics such as the three by three hex mosaic, your standard 2×2 square mosaic, and the herringbone mosaic so you can add as much fun to this design as you want. Crossville has been at the forefront of these trends and designs and these new lines we are producing really exemplify that.
