The Best of Everything in 2024!

December 26, 2024

A Look Back at 2024’s Products, Projects & More

2024 has been an exciting year of positive change and growth for Crossville®! We launched some of our most technologically advanced products yet, and we’ve enjoyed the year of getting to know and working alongside our new AHF family of flooring products.

In the design world, holistic well-being, sustainability, biophilia, and personalization have been the top priorities. The line between residential and commercial design remains blurred,  with “resimercial” design principles effectively merging the comforts of home with professional and hospitality environments, creating inviting settings that boost both productivity and satisfaction. Across the industry, there is a strong sense of optimism and a commitment to reinvention, driving designers and businesses to embrace bold, transformative solutions that meet the demands of modern society.

To celebrate the close of an excellent year for our industry, we’d like to share our “best of everything,” including 2024 product launches, top projects, most popular blogs, and awards.

2024  Product Launches

This past year introduced many new porcelain tile collections, including two with our new FeatherSoft™ finish, an elegant new wood look, an exotic marble look, a concrete look, and an updated designer favorite.

FeatherSoft  Collections

Can you imagine a tile that’s soft to the touch? Our Beljn™ and Sociale™ porcelain tile collections with this revolutionary new finish are just that! FeathersSoft creates an extraordinarily touchable interior surface. Be sure to order your free samples because you must feel it to believe it.

Beljn

Beljn porcelain tile was our first product launch of the year and introduced the FeatherSoft technology. Inspired by Belgian Bluestone, a unique limestone with an incredible history that dates back approximately 350 million years, this carbon-neutral Beljn collection is highly versatile, with an unpolished finish featuring the FeatherSoft finish and a bush-hammered style exterior finish designed for grand scale and high fashion in outdoor spaces.

Like its inspiration, Beljn features the look of visible ancient fossils, corals, and white calcite veins, yet the collection is decidedly contemporary in color and sizing.

Sociale

Our  Sociale  porcelain tile collection features six luxurious natural stone looks that exude quiet elegance. The line features the FeatherSoft™ finish for extraordinarily touchable surfaces and an exterior finish for inside-out flexibility, Sociale is visually appealing yet practical.

The Timeless Appeal of Concrete

Built for enduring elegance,  Trajectory™  porcelain tile elevates concrete’s timeless appeal, replicating it with superior durability and effortless maintenance.

The meticulous arrangement, density, and direction of lifelike aggregates create a captivating visual spectacle, imbuing residential and commercial spaces indoors and out with enduring elegance — and without the burden of constant maintenance.

The Look of Wood: Elegant, Organic Beauty

Inspired by the timeless allure of live-sawn white oak,  Rural Retreat™ porcelain tile brings a warm, earthy sophistication and a calming sense of harmony to any home. The 8″ x 48″ planks are available in an exterior finish for creating backyard sanctuaries, exterior entryways, and poolside retreats.

Exotic & Unique Marbles

Marblique’s  revolutionary Visual Touch™ technology, manufactured in partnership with Italy’s Ceramica del Conca, brings life to design with rich, textural realism.

The four stone surfaces that comprise our Marblique™ porcelain tile collection are rendered with unparalleled accuracy—both in looks and feel. The veining is meticulously replicated to perfection, synchronizing seamlessly with the nuanced textures of acid etching, brushing, and bush hammering. This exciting new line is an exotic, luxurious surfacing choice for your residential design projects, yet durable enough to withstand the toughest commercial environments.

New Colors for Argent 2.0™

Ten years after its original launch, Crossville’s Argent™ porcelain tile collection, with its rich look of natural argent stone, remains a colorfully modern workhorse for architects and designers who consider it a commercial flooring staple.

Now, in 2024, we’re excited to introduce an updated  Argent 2.0 porcelain tile collection that moves away from the bold hues of its predecessor by embracing a new palette conducive to learning, exploration, and introspection within our homes and beyond.

Argent 2.0, with its softer, digitally remastered visual and quietly luxurious color palette, creates a timeless aesthetic to support rest, balance, and creativity while evoking a Mediterranean ambiance that resonates with both traditional and contemporary sensibilities.
